Justin Timberlake Arrested in Drunk Driving Case, Released; His Mug Shot Goes Viral

American singer and actor Justin Timberlake was arrested for drunken driving in New York on June 18. Following the arrest, numerous pictures of the actor in handcuffs are now circulating on the internet. According to a report by Page Six, the photo was taken as Timberlake was being escorted from the police station to court. The singer was accompanied by his lawyer. However, the actor has now been released.

Along with the photo of the actor, social media users are also sharing the singer’s mugshot, taken by the police following his arrest. Although Timberlake claimed that he only had one martini during his night out, sources suggest he was actually “wasted.”

According to a report by the Associated Press, Timberlake was driving a 2025 BMW in Sag Harbor at 12:30 a.m. when he was pulled over. “His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odour of an alcoholic beverage emanated from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, had slowed speech, was unsteady afoot, and performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,” the court papers said.

The 43-year-old singer informed the police that he had one martini and was following some friends home. After being arrested and taken to a police station in nearby East Hampton, he refused a breath test, according to court papers. However, he was released without bond, and his next court date is scheduled for July 26, as reported by the Suffolk County district attorney’s office to the AP.

For the unversed, Justin Timberlake is currently on his global tour titled “Forget Tomorrow,” promoting his newest album “Everything I Thought It Was,” which debuted in March.
