Kate Middleton has been away from the public eye for this entire year now and amid rumours of her slipping into coma and disappearing, she released a video statement announcing that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for the same. Amid her ongoing cancer treatment, Kate Middleton has now penned down an emotional letter and has also tendered an apology, to the Head of the Irish Guards Regiment as she was unable to attend the military parade because of her treatment. The Princess of Wales has promised to be back ‘very soon’.

As mentioned earlier, Kate, Britain’s Princess of Wales who is undergoing preventative chemotherapy for cancer, has written to an army regiment to apologise for missing a military parade on Saturday, adding that she hoped to be back very soon. “Being your Colonel remains a great honour, and I am very sorry that I’m unable (to) take the salute at this year’s Colonel’s Review,” Kate Middleton wrote in a letter to the head of the Irish Guards regiment.

‘I Hope I Am Able To Represent You All Very Soon’

The letter shared on the social media platform read, “Please pass my apologies to the whole Regiment, however I do hope that I am able to represent you all once again very soon.” Kate Middleton’s letter is dated June 3 and has been posted on the social media platform ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday by the Irish Guards regiment.

According to media reports, the side-effects of preventative chemotherapy being faced by Kate Middleton are ‘gruesome’ and extremely painful; however, the Princess of Wales has been fighting like a warrior and has been quite brave despite the excruciating pain. Britain’s Prince William, who is heir to the throne, said last month that Kate, his wife, was “doing well”.
