Lovlina Borgohain claims 'mental harassment' from authorities ahead of CWG; IOA respond

Birmingham: Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist Lovlina Borgohain has revealed that she is being mentally harassed by the authorities ahead of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, starting 28 July.

Lovlina took to Twitter to vent her frustration, adding that one of her coaches were denied entry to the Games Village, while another coach had been sent back home to India.

The Indian boxing squad reached the Games Village on Sunday night after a training stint in Ireland, but Lovlina's personal coach Sandhya Gurung could not enter the Village since she does not have accreditation.

Lovlina, perhaps, wanted her personal coach Amey Kolekar with her during the CWG, but his name did not feature in the long list.

Lovlina went on to add that she had to plead to be a part of the training camp ahead of the Games.
