Alia Bhatt Reveals Her Dream Job If Acting Wasn’t in the Cards – Deets Here

Alia Bhatt made the entire nation proud after she appeared at the MET Gala 2024 wearing a beautiful saree designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. This was the second time when the actress walked the red carpet. With the theme of “Garden of Time,” Alia proved that an Indian saree is a timeless piece of fashion which can never get old. Now, in a behind-the-scenes interview with Vogue, Alia was seen having a light-hearted conversation with a designer, wherein she revealed that if not a designer and an actor, she would have loved to get into a special profession.

Alia Bhatt Reveals Dream Career

As the conversation progressed, Sabyasachi Mukherjee revealed that he became a fashion designer by accident. Otherwise, he wanted to be an architect. The designer further says, “Just because you are good at something, doesn’t mean that you were meant to do it. I want to do other things too.” Later, Alia can be seen saying, “I have discovered that I would be a wedding planner if I was not an actor. I love planning and I love plans.”   

Alia has made headlines with her look in the MET Gala 2024. The actor’s saree was the epitome of beauty and elegance. In another interview, Alia revealed that it took 1905 hours to bring together this piece of beauty. Meanwhile, according to a report by Lefty, an influencer marketing platform, Alia Bhatt became the most visible attendee when she walked the red carpet leaving behind famous stars such as Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Cardi B and Doja Cat and topped the chart. 

This was the second time when Alia walked the red carpet at the MET Gala 2024. The actor expressed her gratitude for getting a chance and even to represent India’s tradition and culture. The actor said,  “I’m feeling great. I’m feeling very excited. Months of preparation, lots of conversations and all build up to this one moment. It’s so surreal, but it’s also very special. It’s my second time at the Met, but my first time wearing a saree. When I thought of the dress code, ‘Garden of Time’, I felt it needed something timeless, and there’s nothing timeless than a saree.”

Coming to Alia’s work front, Alia was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani opposite Ranveer Singh. The actor will be next seen in Jigra and Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
