Nikhil Advani, known for directing films like Kal Ho Naa Ho, Veda, and Chandni Chowk to China, recently shared his thoughts on how the film industry has changed over time in an interview. He recalled the time when Amitabh Bachchan took a nominal fee for Mohabbatein and when put next it to the many amounts he earned for Silsila.
The Simplicity of the Past

He had been disheartened after a pair of setbacks and even visited Yash Chopra’s house wearing a monkey cap to ask for work.
