Meet star who left college to work as a peon, saved every money to run his household, today he is a big name in dance world, he is…

Bollywood and the dance world boast numerous stars, but there are also some who, thanks to their hard work and passion, remain unrecognised. Dharmesh Yelande is one such name, a household name today. His story isn’t just about success, but also an example of struggle and hard work. He’s been dedicated to dance since childhood, a passion he had for it. However, few know that behind this illustrious life, there was also a tremendous struggle. Early in his career, Dharmesh dropped out of college and worked as a peon. Before achieving fame and fortune, he had to scrape together a living to support his family.

Who is Dharmesh?

Dharmesh was born on October 31, 1983, in Vadodara, Gujarat. He comes from a humble family. His father ran a small tea stall, making it difficult to make ends meet. Dharmesh was passionate about dance since childhood. He would imitate Govinda and other Bollywood dancers on TV. Because his family lived in a small family, he would often dance in the streets to practice. When he demonstrated his talent by winning a dance competition in sixth grade, his father enrolled him in dance classes.

When Dharmesh faced financial instability

But financial constraints forced Dharmesh to abandon his studies. He was 19 when he abandoned college and took up a job as a peon. He also taught dance to children. At that time, his monthly income was around Rs 1,600. Through small efforts and savings, he began to fulfill his dreams. He himself said that dance was like breathing to him, and that’s why he never gave up.
