Mohiuddin was making a chemical more dangerous than cyanide, planning a big attack: Gujarat ATS

New Delhi: The Gujarat ATS has made several revelations. Investigations revealed that the three terrorists were planning a major terrorist attack that would cause significant damage. To achieve this, one of them was making a chemical called Ricin, which is even more dangerous than cyanide. Fortunately, the ATS apprehended all three in time, and their plan was foiled. One of the terrorists had connections with a person on Telegram and was also in contact with foreign individuals.

According to Gujarat ATS DIG Sunil Joshi, these suspects had been under surveillance for almost a year. The ATS received intelligence that Dr Ahmed Mohiuddin, a 35-year-old from Hyderabad, was involved in terrorist activities and was planning to travel to Ahmedabad. Acting on this information, the ATS monitored his movements and intercepted him at the Adalaj toll plaza. Officials revealed that Dr Mohiuddin, who holds an MBBS degree from China, was preparing a dangerous chemical called ricin as part of his terrorist plan. Mohiuddin also brought four litres of castor oil for this purpose. Risin is more toxic than cyanide and was intended to be used to cause mass destruction.

The Gujarat ATS recovered two Glock pistols, one Beretta pistol, 30 live cartridges, and four litres of castor oil from the suspects.
