London’s New Bond Street claimed the title of the most expensive high street destination, as per a report by Cushman & Wakefield named Main Streets Across the World 2025, published on Wednesday.

London’s New Bond Street has an annual rental value of USD2,231 per square metre. The street has surpassed Milan’s Via Montenapoleone and New York’s Upper Fifth Avenue this year in terms of expense.
The second and third most expensive streets in the world are Milan’s Via Montenapoleone and New York’s Upper Fifth Avenue, respectively.
The advancement has happened following the 22 percent rental growth witnessed in 2024.

Notably, three Asian high streets secured places in the list. Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong, Ginza in Tokyo, and Myeongdong in Seoul are the most expensive streets in Asia.
The 10 percent rental increase of Ginza has led it closer to Champs-Paris’s Elysees, currently on the fifth position.
Shopping hub Dubai has also made its place in the list. The city’s Mall’s Fashion Avenue has become that only Middle Eastern entry on the list. Its current rank is 11th, with a 9 percent year-over-year increase.
If we talk about the United States, the country has witnessed an 8 percent increase this year, compared to 2024. In 2024, Europe followed with a steady 4 percent increase.

Khan Market, which is located in New Delhi, was the costliest high street in the country in 2025. Its global ranking is 24th.
With a 3 percent rise compared to last year, its yearly rent stands at USD223 per square foot, which amounts to Rs 19,756.06 per square foot.
