Munjya Box Office Collection Day 17: Abhay Verma-Sharvari Wagh’s Movie Enters Rs 100 Crore Club – Check Day Wise Earnings

The horror-comedy film Munjya, starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh, has exceeded expectations at the box office. On its 17th day, the film crossed the 100 crore mark, earning over Rs 7.2 crore. Released on June 7, Munjya has received rave reviews from both fans and critics, resulting in impressive ticket sales. As of now, the film’s gross collection in India is Rs 103 crore, with a net collection of Rs 87.31 crore. According to Sacknilk, on Sunday, June 23, Munjya had a 33.01% occupancy rate for Hindi shows. Morning shows had 17.24% occupancy, which increased to 39.61% in the afternoon and 48.39% in the evening.

  • Week 2: Rs 34.50 crore
  • Day 15: Rs 3.31 crore

About Munjya:

Munjya is set in Pune and the Konkan region, featuring Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, and Mona Singh. The story revolves around a mythical creature named Munjya, who disrupts the life of Bittu, played by Abhay Verma. The movie tells the tale of Bittu, who unintentionally unleashes Munjya, an enraged spirit while returning to his home town. Then he makes an effort to free Bela (Sharvari) and himself from this spirit. The two had equally frightening and humorous interactions with Munjya.

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Munjya is the fourth film after Stree, Roohi, and Bhediyain the Maddock Supernatural Universe, inspired by Indian folklore and mythology.

Made on a budget of Rs 30 crore, the film has successfully grossed over Rs 100 crore, cementing its place as a box office hit.
