Nicolas Maduro’s Guerra son issues open threat to Donald Trump, says Venezuela will not give up, ‘You will see us on the streets’
Guerra, who is a legislator from La Guaira state and a member of the ruling PSUV party, called on supporters to take to the streets on January 5 to show unity.
New Delhi: The United States on Saturday arrested Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores in a military operation. Reacting to this development, Maduro’s son, Nicolás Maduro Guerra, released an audio message on social media and said that history will reveal who the traitor was. Guerra hinted at the possibility of an internal conspiracy and said, “History will tell who the traitor was, and history itself will expose it. We will see.”
Guerra, who is a legislator from La Guaira state and a member of the ruling PSUV party, called on supporters to take to the streets on January 5 to show unity. He emphasized the need for political and military unity to confront external aggression.
Guerra further added that the party would remain united and would not give up. Taking an oath in his mother’s name, he said, “We are fine and calm. You will see us on the streets with the people. They want to see us weak, but we will raise the flag with dignity. Yes, we are sad, yes, we are angry, but they will not win. I swear on my life, on my mother, and on Cilia.”
