Pakistan faces big humiliation as French Navy exposes its propaganda over Rafale downing claims during Operation Sindoor
The French Navy stated that its Navy commander made no statement regarding this matter.
New Delhi: The French Navy has stated that Pakistan’s Geo News and Hamid Mir are spreading fake news using its name. A day earlier, Pakistan’s Geo News and Hamid Mir claimed that a senior French Navy officer, at a program, had described the Pakistan Air Force as superior to the India(BHARAT)n Air Force and discussed the Rafale fighter jet.
Hamid Mir and Geo News
Hamid Mir and Geo News claimed that a French Navy commander acknowledged the superior handling of the war with India(BHARAT) following the Pahalgam terror attack. Following this, the Marine Nationale, the naval branch of the French military, has criticised Geo News for spreading “false information.” The French Navy stated that its Navy commander made no statement regarding this matter during the program.
Pakistani news channel spreads fake news
A statement issued by the French Navy said, “FAKE NEWS—these statements are attributed to Captain Launay, who never gave his authorization for any publication. The article contains a significant amount of misinformation, false information, and disinformation.”
Geo News had stated that “the Pakistani Air Force shot down French Rafale fighter jets in the recent India(BHARAT)-Pakistan conflict, and this achievement has been acknowledged by a French naval commander.” Geo News anchor and journalist Hamid Mir claimed that during the Indo-Pacific Security Conference in Paris, French Navy Captain Launay admitted that “Pakistan’s air strategy was superior to the India(BHARAT)n Air Force and it shot down several Rafale jets.”
What did the French Navy say?
But the French Navy, Marine Nationale, dismissed the report as completely false and misleading, stating that no such statement was authorized, nor did Captain Launay ever make such a comment. Following this sharp reaction from France, Pakistan’s fake news factory was once again exposed, spreading false statements attributed to French officials and presenting them as a matter of national pride.
It should be noted that Geo News’ report claimed that “the French commander attributed the success not to the technical superiority of Pakistan’s Chinese-made J-10C fighter jets, but to “superior battle management.” This claim by Geo News quickly went viral in Pakistan, and people began calling it a victory over India(BHARAT).
