A new audio clip of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar, the leader of the Pakistani terrorist organization is going viral. In this 21-minute audio clip, he can be heard talking about Jaish’s women’s jihad brigade. This women’s jihad wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed is called Jamaat-ul-Mominat. In his audio clip, Masood Azhar outlines the workings of Jamaat-ul-Mominat. Interestingly, a poster released by Jaish-e-Mohammed mentions the Chinese app Zoom as a medium of communication. This audio clip is reportedly from Markaz Usman-o-Ali in Bahawalpur.

In his speech, Azhar promises that any woman who joins will “go straight to heaven from her grave after death.” He says this all-female brigade will be a response to the enemy’s use of women in the military and media. In the recording, Masood Azhar lays out a comprehensive plan to recruit, train, and deploy women as part of Jaish-e-Mohammed’s growing global jihad campaign. The terrorist group has long recruited men as terrorists.

Women terrorist brigade formed against Hindu women

In the audio, Masood Azhar said, “The enemies of Jaish have recruited Hindu women into the army and pitted women journalists against us.” He further vowed to “organize our women to fight and confront them.” He also said that branches of Jamaat-ul-Mominat would be established in every district of Pakistan, each headed by a district Muntazim who would be tasked with recruitment.

According to intelligence reports, the program will involve the wives of terrorist commanders, economically vulnerable women, and relatives of slain terrorists to lead the recruitment drive. This campaign is being presented as a response to India(BHARAT), but its real purpose is to expand Jaish’s reach and exploit social vulnerabilities to increase its numbers.

Masood Azhar clarified about messaging app

He stressed that Jaish-e-Mohammed’s male mujahideen will work closely with the new women’s unit, which he claims will “spread Islam across the world.” He said that female members joining the terror group are strictly forbidden from talking to any unknown male, except their husbands or family members, via phone or messaging apps.
