‘PM Modi, you can save lives of millions of Pakistanis’: Pakistani leader’s call for help against Shehbaz and Munir

New Delhi: A leader from Sindh province has surprised the world by writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In the letter, Sindhi leader Shafi Burfat warned that “Pakistan is entering a dangerously unstable phase,” which he calls an “extremist, military command structure.”

He wrote that making Asim Munir the ‘owner’ of Pakistan’s nuclear bombs is a threat not only to Sindh but to the entire region.

Letter Expresses Serious Concerns About Pakistan’s Nuclear Weapons

The letter, sent from Frankfurt, expresses serious concerns about Pakistan’s nuclear weapons. Shafi Burfat is the chairman of the Sindhi nationalist group Jeay Sindh Muttahida Mahaz (JSMM). He wrote this letter at a time when the Pakistani parliament amended the constitution, making Asim Munir the Chief of Defence Forces. This means that Asim Munir now has complete control over Pakistan’s national policy, internal security, and politics.

What Does The Letter Say?

The letter states: “With utmost respect and a firm commitment to peace, dignity, and regional stability, I present this heartfelt appeal on behalf of the people of Sindh, an ancient civilization, a distinct nation, and a people who today stand at the forefront against the Pakistani military, its extremist proxies, and its artificial state system. This appeal is not merely a political statement. It is a warning. It is an alarm for humanity. It is the voice of a nation struggling for survival in a repressive, extremist, and dangerously unstable country.

“Your leadership can save the lives of millions of innocent people. Honorable Prime Minister, the Sindhi nation completely and forever rejects Pakistani subjugation. We want to live. Mohenjo-Daro. We want dignity. We want freedom from a fundamentalist, militaristic state that oppresses our nation and endangers the world.”
