Popular bankrupt retail chain finds buyer for brand and assets
The iconic brand is shuttering but may live on under a new name.
The retail sector had a no longer easy poke in 2024, with numerous high-profile bankruptcies and store closures. More than 7,300 areas shuttered last year, marking a nearly 58% uptick from 2023, consistent with Coresight Analysis.
Tell, a procuring middle staple, filed for economic ruin in April, due partly to a shift in vogue trends and a weird and wonderful decline in foot visitors. Big Heaps filed for economic ruin security in September, citing a decline in gross sales.
