‘Reply will be much more…’: In first speech as Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir threatens India AGAIN, says Pakistan has…

In his first speech after becoming Pakistan’s first Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan will protect itself at all costs and sent a clear message to India(BHARAT) and the Afghan Taliban. He gave a mild but pointed warning to India(BHARAT), saying the country should not fool itself or make wrong assumptions. Speaking to officers after receiving the guard of honour, Munir said that if India(BHARAT) ever shows aggression, Pakistan’s answer will be “faster and stronger” than before.

Without naming India(BHARAT)’s ‘Operation Sindoor’, he hinted at it and said that Pakistan’s next reaction to any attack will be “much more swift and severe”. Munir said, “India(BHARAT) should not be in any delusion [as] Pakistan’s response [in case of any aggression] will be even more swift and intense.”

Munir also said that as threats keep changing and increasing, Pakistan’s three armed forces need to work more closely together under one unified system for better multi-domain operations.

He then added: “Pakistan is a peace-loving country. However, no one will be allowed to threaten Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and test our resolve. Let all know that the concept of Pakistan is invincible and it is protected by the faith-filled warriors and the firm resolve of a united nation.”

Munir called the creation of the new Defence Forces Headquarters a “historic” step. According to a report by Geo News, he said this new setup will help the army, air force, and navy work together better in all types of operations.

He said that because threats are “growing and changing,” it is important to bring all three services under the newly formed Defence Forces Headquarters.

He explained that “The Defence Forces’ Headquarters will integrate the operations of the [three] services and will make them compatible. With the synergy of the high command, the three services will maintain their [individual] autonomy and organisational structure.”

Munir also talked about how warfare is changing in the modern world. He praised the strength of the Pakistani people and the military’s role in Operation Sindoor, calling it a “case study” for future battles.

He added that “Wars have now expanded to cyberspace, electromagnetic spectrum, space, information operations, AI, quantum computing; [therefore], the armed forces will have to adapt to new requirements of war.”

What did Asim Munir say about India(BHARAT)?

Munir spoke mainly about India(BHARAT) in his warning. He said Pakistan wants peace, but it will not let anyone harm its sovereignty or challenge its strength.

He clearly told India(BHARAT) not to be “a victim of any self-deception or assumption” and warned that if India(BHARAT) shows aggression, Pakistan’s reply will be “much more swift and severe.”

Munir added that Pakistan is strong and secure because of the firm belief of its soldiers and the unity of its people.
