Samsung has introduced a new Medications tracking feature to its Samsung Health app in India, aimed at helping users manage their medications more effectively
New Delhi – Samsung has introduced a new Medications tracking feature to its Samsung Health app in India, aimed at helping users handle their medications more effectively. This option allows users to track their prescribed and over-the-counter medication schedules, specifically a solid option for those managing chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, PCOS, and PCOD.
The feature provides users with important information, including medication descriptions, potential uncomfortable side effects, and safety tips, equivalent to adverse reactions from drug-to-drug interactions. Users can arrange reminders for taking medications and refills, with customizable alert levels. Galaxy Watch users may receive medication alerts on their devices.
Developed by Samsung’s R&D, Design, and Consumer Experience teams, the Medications feature addresses the wishes of Indian consumers. It integrates with Samsung Health’s other offerings like sleep tracking, mindfulness programs, and irregular heart rhythm notifications, expanding its capabilities to give a boost to more aspects of personal health management.
The feature will likely be reachable in India through updates to the Samsung Health app for users with Android 10.Zero or later and Samsung Health app version 6.28 or later.
