Satara doctor death case: Who is MP whose name appears in lady doctor’s suicide note, whom she called before dying?
New revelations are emerging in the murder case of a lady doctor in Satara. The suicide note has revealed several names of those accused of torturing the doctor.
A 28-year-old female doctor in Maharashtra’s Satara district committed suicide late Thursday night. The doctor, posted as a medical officer at the Phaltan sub-district hospital, wrote a suicide note on her left palm. In it, she accused police sub-inspector Gopal Badne and software engineer Prashant Bankar of repeatedly raping, sexually assaulting, and mentally torturing her over the past five months.
The investigation into her death is revealing several important revelations. In addition to the palm-written note, a four-page suicide note was found, naming an MP and two of his associates. Furthermore, the deceased doctor had called and texted one of the accused before her suicide. However, the details of their conversation have not been revealed.
The police team investigating this case has uncovered crucial evidence. Police say the deceased and one of the accused had spoken before the suicide. Police stated that the deceased doctor and one of the accused had exchanged phone calls and messages. She was a tenant in the flat of the accused, Prashant Bankar’s father. Police stated that she had spoken to Prashant, a software engineer from Pune, before her suicide.
Meanwhile, PSI Gopal Badne has been suspended after his name appeared in her suicide note. He is currently absconding and is being searched for. The deceased also mentioned the name of an MP in her suicide note, who was exerting political pressure on her. However, the police have not revealed the MP’s name.
