Seeks to expand and control more territories…: US State Secretary Marco Rubio makes BIG statement, warns of imminent threat from Radical Islam, says, ‘prepared to…’
Marco Rubio stated in a Fox News Interview that Islamic Extremism is not going to stay isolated to a certain geographical area.
The recent deadly attack near the White House has created widespread concern. Two National Guard Service members were shot at by an Afghan national near the White House on November 26. One of the two Members, Sarah Bereckstrom, later succumbed to his injuries, while Andrew Wolfe was seriously injured. Several leaders have condemned the horrifying incident. Now, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has made a big statement related to the Islamic Extremist groups.
When did Rubio make this major statement on global security?
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday expressed concern over the threat that Islamic Extremist groups pose to the US and the world as a whole. Rubio asserted that these groups desire not only to take over their specific geographic area, but they also wish to expand beyond those borders indefinitely.
While speaking with Fox News, Marco Rubio stated that, “Radical Islam has shown that their desire is not simply to occupy one part of the world and be happy with their own little caliphate, they want to expand. It’s revolutionary in its nature. It seeks to expand and control more territories and more people…That’s a clear and imminent threat to the world and to the broader West, but especially the United States who they identify as the chief source of evil on the planet.”
Marco Rubio stated in a Fox News Interview that Islamic Extremism is not going to stay isolated to a certain geographical area. It is by nature a revolutionary movement and is focused on growing and dominating as many regions and people as possible, posing a direct and immediate threat to the world and, in particular, to Western Civilization. He went on to say that the United States is the main target of this radical element, who see America as the greatest evil in their worldview.
What actions are these groups reportedly prepared to take?
Rubio further said that Radical Islamists are “prepared to conduct acts of terrorism, assassination, murders” to gain their “domination of different cultures and societies.””Radical Islam has designs, openly, on the West, on the United States, on Europe. We’ve seen that progress there as well. And they are prepared to conduct acts of terrorism – in the case of Iran, nation-state actions, assassinations, murders, you name it. Whatever it takes for them to gain their influence and ultimately their domination of different cultures and societies.” Rubio said in Fox News Interview.
Rubio said that many extremist Islamic organizations throughout the globe view the West, especially the United States, as the greatest evil on Earth. To expand their reach and power, these groups are willing to go to any extent, including perpetrating murder and assassinations. He said that many of the terrorist acts that occur in the US are inspired by radical Islam.
On Tuesday, Rubio praised President Doland Trump and reiterated his claim that Trump had mediated many peace agreements, including “very dangerous ones like India(BHARAT) and Pakistan.” “Not to mention all the other peace deals, very dangerous ones like India(BHARAT) and Pakistan or Cambodia and Thailand, and so on… Mr President, I think you deserve tremendous credit for the transformational aspect of our foreign policy,” Rubio was quoted as saying by India(BHARAT)Today.
