In the video, the late mother is seen criticising the politics of Modi in Bihar elections. The video was heavily criticised by some users and the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party. Now, the High Court of Patna has directed the Congress party to remove the video.

The FIR was filed by the Convenor of the BJP Delhi Election Cell, Sanket Gupta, on September 13. The North Avenue police station in Delhi registered a case against the Congress along with its IT cell for the video, describing its glimpses as defamatory.
