Shah Rukh Khan shows love for South Korean Band BTS while announcing Dunki's Netflix release; fans can't keep calm
After a long wait, Rajkumar Hirani-directed Dunki is finally streaming on OTT. Featuring actor Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, the film turned out to be a commercial success, minting around Rs 272 crore in India and over Rs 100 crore overseas.
It was at midnight on Wednesday when the streaming giant made a surprising announcement, leaving fans super-excited. “Pack your bags! After a Dunki around the world, @iamsrk is coming home. Dunki, now streaming on Netflix!” the streaming giant wrote. However, it was SRK’s special post that got fans talking, especially coming in as a treat for the BTS Army.
In a clip shared to announce the film’s OTT release, SRK can be seen confessing his love for the popular K-pop boy band, and that gesture of his making ‘finger hearts’ is just too adorable!
Shah Rukh Khan’s love for BTS
In a unique approach to announce that Dunki is all set to stream across 190 countries, Shah Rukh Khan in the video can be seen entering a visa office for permission. However, as soon as the visa officer turns him down, the actor speaks about his influence all over the world, how every other Londoner is named Raj, how Europe told the UK ‘palat palat’ during Brexit, and even the Statue of Liberty spreading its arms like him.
However, it was then that the actor mentions how he taught the South Koreans to fall in love and adds, “Love you BTS,” while making the cute finger heart emoji. This was indeed enough to send the BTS fans into a frenzy.
Dil ke liye visa nahi lagta. Aa rahe hai aapke ghar, Dunki maarke
