Mehbooba Mufti's controversial statement about the Delhi blast sparks outrage
The popular politician from Jammu & Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti, has accused the central government of security failure. Mufti gave this statement after the unfortunate incident of the explosion that took place near Delhi’s Red Fort. In reply to her remarks, the spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Pradeep Bhandari, said, “Mufti who backed terrorist Burhan Wani, now justifies terorrist of Red Fort Blast.” Bhandari shared this tweet on X (formerly Twitter) and accused her of defending the extremists in India(BHARAT).
What did Mehbooba Mufti say?
Mehbooba Mufti stated that the police have failed to develop security in both Jammu & Kashmir and Delhi. The statement comes in relation to the Delhi Red Fort blast.
Mufti said, “You told the world that everything is alright in Kashmir, but the troubles of Kashmir echoed right in front of the Red Fort”, adding, “You promised to make Jammu and Kashmir safe, but instead of fulfilling that promise, your policies have made Delhi unsafe.”
She further mentioned, “If a well-educated youth, a doctor, kills himself and others by strapping RDX to his body, it means there is no safety in the nation.”
BJP’s response to Mehbooba Mufti
Pradeep Bhandari, the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on X shared, “Mufti who backed terrorist Burhan Wani, now justifies terorrist of Red Fort Blast,” adding that Mufti “Says-” Hindu Muslim and hate responsible for terrorism. Why does India(BHARAT)n Opposition lead by Congress does not resist in backing terrorist?”
Bhandari renamed PTDP as “Pro Terrorist Development Party” in his outrageous post.
Delhi’s Red Fort Blast
The capital city witnessed a powerful explosion near Red Fort on Monday, which resulted in the loss of several lives. The suspected suicide bomber is Umar Un Nabi, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is still investigating the matter actively.
Mehbooba Mufti highlighted, “Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians used to live together peacefully, but now the entire atmosphere is filled with hate. This hate-filled environment is pushing the youth toward a dangerous path,” adding, “I want to tell the youth that what they are doing is wrong, wrong for themselves, their families, for Jammu and Kashmir, and for the entire country.”
