The story of the Ramayana has been adapted by many filmmakers, leading to a great deal of films in accordance with the same narrative. The film is Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, an Indo-Japanese anime created in 1992. In contrast, any other adaptation of the Ramayana, Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, used to be made on a enormous budget of rs 700 crores.
