‘UP on right track to become USD 1-trillion economy’: Here’s what UP CM Yogi Adityanath has said on the growing state economy
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is in the direction of slowly achieving its economy goal of becoming one trillion dollars. The officials stated that the target of 93 per cent has already been achieved.
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Tuesday said that the state is slowly moving toward achieving the goal of a one-trillion-dollar economy. The Chief Minister Yogi stated this in a meeting held in Lucknow. The meeting included the progress review of various departments. He added that UP has the tendency to grow fast economically. The state officials mentioned that almost 93 per cent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) target has already been achieved.

CM Yogi’s directions to officials
The Chief Minister directed the officials to do monthly reviews of progress in the economic goals. He highlighted that file clearance should be done on time along with proper budget allocations. He also stressed on the uploading of real-time data.
Major sectors discussed in the meeting
CM Yogi discussed agriculture and said that the state contributes greatly to the total foodgrain production of India(BHARAT). He highlighted the issue of road safety during the serious foggy conditions. He also talked about tourism and stated the need for faster rollout of digital libraries in the state at the level of gram panchayat. In addition, he stressed the execution of some welfare schemes like Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana.
