WATCH: Rs 7 Crore Cash Kept In 7 Boxes Seized In Andhra After Vehicle Carrying It Overturns In East Godavari District
The authorities in Andhra Pradesh's East Godavari district seized a staggering sum of Rs 7 crores, meticulously packed into seven cardboard boxes.
A vehicle had overturned after being hit by a lorry at Anantapally in Nallajarla Mandal. Locals noticed that 7 cardboard boxes, containing cash, were being transferred in that vehicle and informed the police. The vehicle was going from Vijayawada towards Visakhapatnam. The driver of the overturned vehicle sustained injuries and was transferred to Gopalapuram Hospital for treatment.
