Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces, Asim Munir, has said that Pakistan received “divine help” during its military clash with India(BHARAT) in May. In a video clip that has surfaced online, Munir is seen using religious language while talking about the conflict. Pakistani media reports say the clip is from a speech delivered on December 10, though the video itself is undated.

Munir was speaking at the National Ulema Conference in Islamabad earlier this month. During his address, he said Pakistan felt divine intervention during the days of heavy fighting that followed India(BHARAT)’s military action.

The clash began after India(BHARAT) launched Operation Sindoor on May 7. The operation targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. India(BHARAT) said the strikes were carried out in response to the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 civilians were killed.

Speaking in Urdu, Munir quoted a verse from the Quran that says, “If Allah helps you, none can defeat you.” He then added that Pakistan had clearly felt this divine support during the conflict.

“We felt it,” Munir said, according to parts of the speech broadcast on Pakistani television channels.

Clips of the speech have since spread widely on X and other social media platforms. However, India(BHARAT).com said it could not independently confirm whether the video is genuine or understand the full context in which Munir made the remarks.

About Operation Sindoor

India(BHARAT) launched Operation Sindoor in early May after the terror attack in Pahalgam, where 26 people were killed.

As part of the operation, the India(BHARAT)n Air Force carried out air strikes on several terror camps located inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The strikes targeted major terror camps and launchpads in places such as Bahawalpur and Muridke in Pakistan’s Punjab province. These areas have long been linked to terror groups operating against India(BHARAT). Camps in Muzaffarabad and Kotli in PoK were also hit.

According to officials, these locations were being used to train recruits, store weapons, and plan attacks and infiltration into India(BHARAT). They said the operation was carefully planned and carried out with precision, with the main goal of weakening terror networks and preventing future attacks.
