US H-1B Visa Fees: Finding a job in the United States is about to become more difficult for Indian workers. New fees have been imposed on H-1B visas, making it more expensive for companies to hire foreign workers.

Bad news for India(BHARAT)ns dreaming of a job in the US. President Doland Trump signed a proclamation on Friday. Under this, companies will now have to pay an annual visa fee of $100,000 (approximately Rs 88 lakh) to hire foreign high-skilled workers. This fee applies to categories like the H-1B visa , which largely attract India(BHARAT)ns to the US to work in sectors like tech, healthcare, and finance. This will make hiring foreign workers more expensive.
What is H-1B visa?
H-1B status is available to a person who has been offered a temporary professional position by a U.S. employer. A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related area is the minimum educational level required for a position to qualify for H-1B status, and the H-1B employee must have this degree (or higher).
