Who is Rukmini Vasanth?
Rukmini works in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films. Her father was the first person from Karnataka to receive the Ashoka Chakra. He was martyred in 2007 while preventing infiltrators from crossing the India(BHARAT)-Pakistan border in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir. Rukmini’s mother, Subhashini Vasanth, is a Bharatnatyam dancer. She runs a foundation in Karnataka to support the widows of martyred soldiers.
