Who is Surendra Singh Bhoria, new SP of Rohtak appointed after suicide of IPS Puran Kumar?
Chief Minister Nayab Saini has removed the current Rohtak Superintendent of Police, Narendra Bijarnia, and appointed Surinder Singh Bhoria as the new Superintendent of Police.

Following the sensational suicide of Y. Puran Kumar in Haryana’s bureaucracy, the government has taken a major decision. The state government has sent Surendra Singh Bhoria to Rohtak. He will replace the current SP Narendra Bijarnia. Before committing suicide, Y. Puran Singh, a 2001 batch IPS officer, had leveled serious allegations against Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor and Rohtak SP Narendra Bijarnia. He was a 2015 batch IPS officer. Although 15 IAS and IPS officers are being implicated in this case, the government has taken action against Bijarnia in the first round. The government has removed Bijarnia from his post, while on the other hand, the government may send DGP Shatrujeet Kapoor on long leave.
