World’s largest Muslim country’s president speech at United Nations is going viral due to…, his name is…, country is…

An interesting incident took place in the United Nations General Assembly , when the President of the largest Muslim country uttered the Hindu word Om. Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto concluded his address with Om Shanti Om. He appealed to the world leaders in the General Assembly to work together

Notably, Bali island of Indonesia has a Hindu majority. Along with Om Shanti Shanti Om, Subianto also said Namo Buddhaya and the Jewish greeting Shalom in his speech. During this, the Indonesian President made a big statement in support of Israel.

What he said to support of Israel?

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said the world must respect Israel’s right to live in safety. He also advocated for the recognition of Israel. Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, has no diplomatic relations with Israel.

Subianto said, “We must recognize Israel, respect it, and guarantee its security. Only then can we achieve real peace.” He also said that Indonesia will recognize Israel the day the Jewish state recognizes Palestine. Subianto said that Indonesia wants a peace that shows that “might cannot fix everything.”

He stressed, “Indonesia once again reiterates its commitment to a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue. Only this will bring peace. We must ensure statehood for Palestine, and we will support all guarantees for Israel’s security.” He also praised the countries that have recently recognized Palestine. Subianto called this a “step on the right side of history.”

Should peacekeepers be sent to Gaza?

Indonesia also expressed support for sending its troops to Gaza to help ensure peace. He said, “If the United Nations Security Council and this august assembly decide, Indonesia is ready to deploy more than 20,000 of its sons and daughters (soldiers) to help ensure peace in Gaza.” He added that Indonesia is also ready to send peacekeepers to Ukraine, Sudan, or Libya, among other places.
