However, However, according to the World Population Review, India(BHARAT) is not the world’s oldest country, and the title is held by a modern-day Muslim nation where humans are estimated to have lived for more than 100,000 years.

As per the World Population Review survey, which analyzes historical population data to predict current population trends around the globe, Persia, or modern-day Iran, is the world’s oldest country, where human populations have lived for over 100,000 years. According to the World Population Review list, Iran’s ancient history is linked to the Elamite Empire, an ancient civilization that emerged in the Middle Bronze age.

The Elamite Empire, which dates back to  3200–539 BCE, is considered to be one of the oldest civilizations in the world, that centered in the far west and southwest of modern Iran, stretching from the lowlands of currently Khuzestan and Ilam Province as well as a small part of modern-day southern Iraq.
