In 2004, Yash Chopra made his directorial comeback with Veer-Zaara, a worship account in step with the backdrop of India and Pakistan. Reportedly, Yash Chopra wished to cast Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol together after their winning pairing in Aditya Chopra’s blockbuster Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995).
