At the We The Women event, Jaya Bachchan said that she feels marriage is an outdated concept and wouldn’t want her granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda to get married. When asked about the legality of marriage, Jaya Bachchan casually offered an encouraging line, “Just enjoy life.” She was asked if the actress would mind if Navya Nanda followed in her footsteps and gave up her career after marriage. Jaya Bachchan replied, “I don’t want Navya to get married.”
