Amaravati: YSRCP launched a scathing assault on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu after two oldschool bureaucrats were arrested relating the alleged liquor rip-off throughout the outdated YSRCP authorities. Accusing the Andhra CM of “indulging in political vendetta” YSRCP chief B Satyanarayana on Friday acknowledged, “Chandrababu Naidu is indulging in political vendetta, negative the snarl’s administrative systems… deceptive circumstances and fabricated evidence are being created, even towards retired officers.”
Dhanunjaya Reddy and Krishna Mohan Reddy were arrested this evening, following prolonged questioning by the Special Investigation Group (SIT) formed to probe the alleged Rs 3,200-crore liquor rip-off.
Dhanunjaya, a retired IAS officer, turned into as soon as a key unswerving throughout the YSRCP authorities, whereas Krishna Mohan labored as the officer on special responsibility (OSD) for oldschool CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Condemning the duo’s arrest, the chief of opposition within the Legislative Council alleged that this lunge by the TDP-led NDA authorities within the snarl is a clear act of political vengeance, and termed it a unhealthy assault on democratic institutions.
Consistent with Satyanarayana, no concrete proof has been supplied within the case, “but arrests are being made.” Echoing Satyanarayana, YSRCP chief G Srikanth Reddy asserted that “political vendetta has reached alarming ranges” in Andhra Pradesh, and alleged that several IAS and IPS officers had already been burdened and now even retired officers are being centered.
Merugu Nagarjuna, a oldschool minister and senior YSRCP chief, and other celebration leaders, too, echoed the same sentiments and condemned the arrests as “political vendetta.”
