Another Hindu man killed in Bangladesh: MEA says, ‘attack on Hindus worrisome’, monitoring situation in…
Bangladesh Violence: In the latest development in the Bangladesh violence in which another Hindu was killed in the neighbouring country, the second such killing in days, the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday called it unacceptable, saying that the India(BHARAT)n Government is monitoring the situation closely. Addressing a press conference in the national capital, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that India(BHARAT) condemns the recent killing of a Hindu youth in the neighbouring country and expects that the Bangladesh government will take stringent actions against the accused persons.

“The unremitting hostility against minorities in Bangladesh is a matter of great concern. We condemn the recent killing of a Hindu youth in Bangladesh and expect that the perpetrators of the crime will be brought to justice,” Jaiswal said.

Another Hindu Man Killed In Bangladesh
On Wednesday night, a 29-year-old Hindu man was brutally beaten to death in Bangladesh, marking the second such killing in days. The incident has heightened concerns over the safety of religious minorities in the neighbouring country.
As per local media, the victim, who has been identified as Amrit Mondal, was attacked and killed in Rajbari’s Pangsha on Wednesday night.
Lynching Of Dipu Chandra Das
It is to be noted that the heinous killing of Mondal follows the brutal killing of Dipu Chandra Das, who was set on fire earlier this week. The killing of the 29-year-old happened when senior opposition leader Tarique Rahman returned after 17 years in self-imposed exile.
As per reports, Rahman had pledged to ensure justice if his party wins next year’s elections.
Congress Raises Concerns Over Minority Safety In Bangladesh
Meanwhile, the grand old party’s veteran leader Udit Raj has raised a question of whether the neighbouring country will protect minority communities, specially Hindus, after Tarique Rahman’s return. He also cited the influence of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind in the Dhaka’s recent political upheaval.
