ATTENTION Mumbai: Traffic police issues advisory for November 30, these roads to remain closed, check routes
The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory informing about the closed road. Some major routes will be closed due to Malad Walkathon. Roads like - Rani Sati Marg, Malkad East Railway station Daftary Road will remain close.
Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Several major roads in Mumbai will remain closed on Sunday due to the ‘Malad Walkathon’. The Mumbai Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for commuters informing them about the closed routes. As many as 5,000 to 6,000 people are expected to take part in the Malad Walkathon across various categories.
Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Timings
According to the Mumbai Traffic Police, the traffic restriction will be implemented from 5 am to 8 am on major routes of the maximum city. The routes include – Rani Sati Marg, Malkad East Railway Station, and Daftary Road, among others.
Since moving vehicles could get in the way of participants on the road and lead to accidents, authorities have put temporary traffic restrictions in place.

Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Which Roads Will Remain Closed?
On November 30, routes like – Western Express Highway-Rani Sati Marg-Malad East Railway Station and Western Express Highway – Daftary Road will remain closed. However, emergency vehicles and police vehicles are exempted from this restriction.

The traffic police stated that commuters moving to and from Malad East Railway Station via Western Express Highway should use the Datta Mandir Road route.

As per the advisory, the walkathon’s will begin starts from Sanjay Gandhi Maidan, Upper Govind Marg -Sai Dham Mandir- Rani Sati Marg -Kedarmai Road- Daftary Road – Poddar Road – Nivetia Road – Haji BApu Road – Chincholi Phatak – Upper Govind Nagar and end at Sanjay Gandhi Maidan.
