Bigg Boss 17: Ankita Lokhande recalls moments with Sushant Singh Rajput, says 'I feel proud talking about him'

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput were once the most-adored couples on television. Known for their undeniable chemistry in reel life as well as real life, the enchanting duo never failed to mesmerise everyone with their presence at various events and shows. However, all good things come to an end.

The couple parted ways after dating for seven years. Ankita is currently seen on Bigg Boss 17 wherein she has participated as a contestant along with her husband. In the latest episode of the controversial reality show, Ankita Lokhande spoke her heart out as she recalled some memories of Sushant.

During a conversation with Abhishek Kumar, Ankita opened up about late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he was extremely hard working.  She told Abhishek, “Your physique, like you are roaming without a shirt, reminds me of Sushant.” She added, “He wasn’t very aggressive, he never got angry. Sushant was very calm. He did another level of hardwork. He was so dedicated and passionate. However, when you are so into details, a bit of ups and downs affect you.”

Ankita added, “I am very easy go lucky. Sushant would dive deep into anything. He would get affected by what people are talking about him on Twitter. He would think about people’s opinions a lot. It was very normal because he was from a small town.”

As Ankita turned emotional, Abhishek said that he had thought that he would never talk to her about her relationship with the Kai Po Che actor. Responding to this, Ankita said, “No, that’s fine. I only feel proud talking about him. I feel good talking about him. He is family.”

When asked if Vicky was supportive when Sushant died, Ankita said that her husband was also Sushant’s friend and that he handled everything very nicely. She concluded by saying, “Had he not been supportive, I wouldn’t have able to do anything.”

For those unversed, Sushant and Ankita embarked on a romantic journey soon after they met on the sets of the television serial Pavitra Rishta. Sushant played the male lead, i.e, Manav in the show whereas Ankita essayed the female lead, Archana.
