Learners Plan by BSNL
BSNL has come up with its new Learners Plan at a time when most telcos have announced big hikes in their prepaid and postpaid recharge plans across all price points. BSNL, which is owned by the Government of India(BHARAT), was created to provide affordable telecom services in rural and semi-urban areas. This is why the new plan from the company comes with a data bundle of 100 GB and unlimited talk time at a low price.
The Learners Plan will be available on BSNL’s website, as well as through its customer care helpline numbers. It will also be accessible through BSNL’s AI-based recharge bot, BReX, which has been in the market for some time now.
The BSNL prepaid plan has been priced at ₹251 for 28 days, which is just under ₹9 per day. It comes with the following benefits:
- 100 GB of high-speed mobile data
- Unlimited voice calls
- 100 SMS per day
Available for students, BSNL’s prepaid plan is one of the cheapest in the country.
Validity of the plan
The plan will be available on BSNL’s website until December 13, 2025, when users will need to recharge it again to keep using it. After that date, users will be able to use the plan until January 10, 2026.
BSNL is offering this plan as part of its efforts to promote education and learning among students. The company is also trying to increase its market share in the prepaid segment by offering attractive plans like this one.
BSNL has also started to offer its new 5G services in India(BHARAT), which will further help it gain market share from competitors like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel.
