Donald Trump issues BIG statement, gives Hamas a stark warning, says Israel may launch an attack…, ceasefire terms are not…

New Delhi: It appears that the threat in Gaza is far from over despite the ceasefire announcement. In its latest US President Doland Trump has said that if Hamas refuses to lay down its arms, the Israeli army could resume its military operations in Gaza. President Trump has claimed that Israel would return to the streets at his command. During his telephonic interview with CNN, the US President stated that the ceasefire in Gaza entirely depends on Hamas adhering to the terms of disarmament.

Trump said, “If Israel can go in and crush them, they will do it.” He further added, “I had to stop them. “Trump mentioned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was ready to resume the campaign, but Washington exerted pressure to show restraint. Referring to the Israeli Prime Minister, Trump said “I spoke with Bibi (Netanyahu). I had to stop him.”

Doland Trump emphasized that freeing the hostages is his top priority. He stated that rescuing 20 hostages is the most important task. Meanwhile, the International Red Cross confirmed late Wednesday night that Hamas has handed over the bodies of two more hostages.

Israel threatened to restart the fighting

Trump said the US military would not join a campaign to disarm Hamas, but would support Israel in that effort. Earlier, Trump had said that if Hamas does not give up its weapons, “we will disarm them” and that it might be done violently. Meanwhile, Israel’s defense minister warned on Wednesday that if Hamas does not honor the terms of the U.S.-backed ceasefire, the fighting will resume.
