‘Every inch of Pakistan…’: Rajnath Singh’s BIG warning from BrahMos missiles aerospace unit in Lucknow, says ‘Operation Sindoor ‘just a trailer’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Saturday that every inch of Pakistan’s territory is within the range of the BrahMos missile, adding that what was seen during Operation Sindoor was “just a trailer.” Speaking at an event in Lucknow, Singh said the BrahMos missile system has become one of the strongest weapons of India(BHARAT)’s armed forces and has boosted the nation’s confidence in achieving its defence goals.

“BrahMos proved to be practical for India(BHARAT)’s security during Operation Sindoor. Winning is not merely an incident, but it has become our habit…What happened in Operation Sindoor was just a trailer. However, that trailer itself made Pakistan realise that if India(BHARAT) could give birth to Pakistan, I need not say anything further about what else it could do,” Rajnath Singh said.

Singh said that the BrahMos team has signed deals worth around Rs. 4,000 crore with two foreign countries in just one month. He added that in the coming years, Lucknow will become a hub for defence technology and innovation, attracting experts from around the world.

“The BrahMos unit in Lucknow is expected to achieve a turnover of about Rs. 3,000 crore from the next financial year, and its operations could generate around Rs. 5,000 crore in GST revenue every year,” Singh said.

The Defence Minister said around 100 missile systems will be produced annually at the Lucknow facility, which is spread over 200 acres and built at a cost of Rs 380 crore.

He and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the first batch of BrahMos missiles produced at the new BrahMos Aerospace facility in Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow.

According to an official statement, this marks the successful production of the first set of missiles from the new integration and testing centre. The event is a major step forward for the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) and will further strengthen India(BHARAT)’s aim of becoming self-reliant in defence manufacturing.

The state-of-the-art BrahMos Aerospace unit, inaugurated on May 11, is equipped with advanced systems for assembling, testing, and quality checks of missiles. Once all tests are completed, the missiles will be handed over to the India(BHARAT)n armed forces for deployment.

The ceremony was attended by Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, and several other officials.
