After the arrest of Muzammil Shakil, linked to the Faridabad terror, his brother and mother have denied his terror involvement.
Dr Muzammil Shakil was arrested from his rented place in Faridabad under the pretext of terror links and heavy arms stored in his possession. After some time, an interstate terror module was also busted by the police, which led to further arrests. Now, a video of Muzammil’s brother and mother is making rounds on social media in which they’re denying all the terror allegations posed against him. They even mentioned that they’ve faced stone pelting for India(BHARAT) and are ‘India(BHARAT)ns by heart.’ You can watch the viral video below.
What did Shakil’s mother and brother say after his arrest?
Muzammil’s brother, Azad Shakil, told PTI, “He last visited us in June during our father’s surgery. Everyone is alleging that he is a terrorist, but we have nothing to do with it. There hasn’t been a single case against our family in 50 years,” adding, “We are India(BHARAT)ns by heart – we’ve even faced stone pelting for India(BHARAT). He was a good person. They are not allowing us to meet him. My sister’s marriage, which he was to attend, has now been cancelled.”

Who’s Dr Muzammil Shakil?
Muzammil is an MBBS holder and was living at a rented place in Faridabad’s Dhauj. He worked as a teacher at UGC-recognised Al-Fatah University. The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP Crime) Faridabad, Varun Dahiya, said that Muzammil had rented a house eight months before, where explosives were found.
