New Delhi: In a major development, the main portion of the Ganga Expressway project has been completed. According to the reports, works on service roads, toll plazas, tree plantations, display boards, street lighting, and camera installations at every kilometer have also been completed. However, it is important to note that the rains briefly disrupted the construction of the service lanes, but work has now resumed.

Prayagraj District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma directed that all works be completed before November 2, 2025. This 594-kilometer expressway, stretching from Meerut to Prayagraj, will facilitate travel between eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. The project costs approximately Rs 36,000 crore and connects 12 districts of the state.
