Haridwar Mansa Devi temple Stampede: 6 dead, several injured, rescue operations underway
In an unfortunate incident, at least six people were killed in a stampede at the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar on Sunday.
New Delhi: In an unhappy incident, on the least six people had been killed in a stampede on the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar on Sunday. The incident took space after a big crowd gathered on the typical shrine. Garhwal Division Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey instantaneous news agency ANI, “Six people enjoy died in a stampede after a valuable crowd gathered on the Mansa Devi temple in Haridwar. I'm leaving for the place. A detailed document of the incident is awaited”. Scientific teams and ambulances replied promptly, and rescue operations are ongoing.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed deep wretchedness over the tragedy. “It is extraordinarily distressing to receive news of a stampede on the route to the Mansa Devi Temple in Haridwar. @uksdrf, native police, and other rescue teams enjoy reached the positioning and are engaged in aid and rescue operations. I'm in fixed contact with the native administration relating to this topic, and the plan back is being carefully monitored. I pray to Mom Goddess for the protection and correctly-being of all devotees,” Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh stated.

As per initial experiences, the stampede may want been triggered by an electrical shock in the residing, main to unexpected chaos and dismay amongst worshippers.
