Humans will remain young forever, become superintelligent, and won’t die: Celebrated scientist’s predictions

New Delhi: It is believed that a certain technology will be developed that will bring the dead humans back to life and make them immortal. Many scientists in different corners of the world have been trying to create or produce such a technology that will prevent humans from dying, making them immortal.

In the same process, a leading computer scientist, Ray Kurzweil, has made the startling claim that by 2030, a technology that will make humans immortal could be discovered. According to this claim, such technology could be available within four to five years. But the question arises, how will this happen? In response, the prominent scientist says that this will be possible with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Who is making the claim?

According to a report in the Times of India(BHARAT), Ray Kurzweil is a prominent computer scientist. He was previously an engineer at Google. He believes that soon, humans may become immortal, meaning they will never die. A report published in The New York Post newspaper states that Kurzweil says that with the help of biotechnology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence, life can be greatly prolonged. Kurzweil received the National Medal of Technology in 1999 and was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2002. Thus, his claim seems to be a genuine one.

AI will open the way to immortality

Kurzweil states in his book “The Singularity is Near” that by 2030, major technological breakthroughs could grant humans eternal life. He states that by 2029, artificial intelligence will become as intelligent as humans and will pass the Turing Test. The Turing Test tests a computer’s thinking ability. If a computer speaks like a human, it passes. In Kurzweil’s view, this will open the way to immortality. New technology will allow the body to remain young forever. Diseases will disappear.

Humans will become superintelligent

Kurzweil says that the Singularity will occur in 2045. This will be the time when human intelligence and artificial intelligence will merge. This will increase our understanding billions of times. Singularity means that machines will think faster than humans. Humans will become superintelligent by connecting with machines. These predictions of Kurzweil’s remain in the news. Many believe in them, while others dismiss them as mere dreams.
