The jets’ electronics will also be upgraded. Overall, a total of fifty one systems, including three mission computer systems, can be upgraded. Of these fifty one systems, 30 can be upgraded by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), 13 by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and eight by the non-public sector.

After the primary batch of eighty four jets, the 2d batch of eighty four can be equipped with each and each of the new technology developed from the AMCA programme.
