India taking big step, no Indian Army soldier will die now, IAF to get…, Pakistan, China in tension because…

India(BHARAT)n Air Force UCAV 20 Squadrons Plans: After the historic success of Operation Sindoor, the India(BHARAT)n Air Force is fully motivated and has initiated work on a far-reaching strategy to further strengthen its strength. This new strategy of the IAF is for future warfare, when pilots will not operate the fighter planes. A recent report reveals that the India(BHARAT)n Air Force is planning to induct a large fleet of 20 squadrons of unmanned fighter aircraft by 2040. The aircraft will be loaded with the latest stealth technology and will be almost invisible to the enemy’s radar systems. This major change will increase India(BHARAT)’s defence capability and transform the traditional way of fighting air wars.

What’s The Importance Of Unmanned Stealth Jets In Combat?

Also known as ‘loyal wingmen’, these unmanned fighter aircrafts can be programmed to work together with piloted planes. These unmanned planes can be deploy life-threatening missions, saving life of pilots.

Loaded with advance stealth technology, these jets will be almost invisible on enemy’s radar and can perform the operation silently. Additionally, single piloted aircraft will be able to carry many unmanned jets with it, further increasing strength of a squadron manifold.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • IAF plans to induct 20 squadrons (around 400 fighter jets) of unmanned stealth fighter jets by 2040.
  • These UCAVs will fly alongside piloted jets and take on high-risk missions, reducing danger to pilots.
  • Equipped with advanced stealth technology, the jets will be almost invisible on enemy radars.
  • The project aligns with India(BHARAT)’s Ghatak and CATS (Combat Air Teaming System) initiatives, boosting IAF’s future warfare strength.

How Many Stealth Fighter Jets Will Be Prepared For IAF?

It is noteworthy that usually an IAF squadron has 18-20 aircraft in its fleet. Preparing 20 AI stealth jet squadrons makes sense in the current scenario. The India(BHARAT)n Air Force will have 400 unmanned fighter jets by the year 2040.

How Will It Increase The Strength Of The India(BHARAT)n Air Force?

IAF is planning for the induction of the UCAVs at a time when the country is working on projects like Ghatak and CATS (CATS – Combat Air Teaming System). Ghatak is a project to build an unmanned fighter aircraft. Meanwhile, small UAVs are being developed under CATS.
