IndiGo crisis continues: Delhi Airport issues advisory amid mass cancellations, urges flyers to check flight status before heading out
Delhi Airport on Monda issued a fresh warning to IndiGo customers, cautioning that the flight delay chaos may continue.
Flight delays caused by IndiGo’s ongoing problems are likely to continue on Monday, Delhi airport warned in an early-morning advisory. The airport asked passengers to check their flight details before leaving home, as schedules are still unstable while IndiGo tries to return to normal operations. “IndiGo flights may continue to face delays. Travellers should confirm their latest flight status with the airline before coming to the airport,” the advisory said. At the Delhi airport, at least 118 flights were cancelled on Sunday, officials told news agency PTI.

IndiGo’s nationwide crisis is still affecting thousands of passengers across India(BHARAT). People are dealing with long delays, cancelled flights, lost baggage, and pending refunds. Over the past six days, IndiGo has cancelled more than 2,000 domestic and international flights, creating chaos at major airports.
The airline said it has processed refunds worth Rs. 610 crore so far and has returned around 3,000 delayed bags to passengers. On Sunday, IndiGo operated about 1,650 flights out of its planned 2,300, while nearly 650 flights remained cancelled. The airline has also announced automatic refunds for cancelled flights and has removed all change and cancellation fees for travel between December 5 and 15.
