Yusuf Azhar was among the 10 family members of Jaish chief Masood Azhar who were killed in Indian armed forces' strikes on the group’s headquarters, Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, located in Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Islamabad: Jaish-e-Mohammed, the Pakistan-based terrorist organization, is reportedly planning a condolence meeting for Yusuf Azhar, brother of the group’s founder, Masood Azhar. To recall, Yusuf was killed by the brave India(BHARAT)n forces on May 6-7 during ‘Operation Sindoor.’ The meeting will be held on September 25 at Markaz Shaheed Masoodabad in Peshawar, where senior commanders and members of Jaish will participate.
As per the NDTV report, the event is also expected to be used as a recruitment drive for new terrorists. To avoid drawing attention, the terrorist group will use the pseudonym “Al-Murabitun.” This Arabic term means “Defenders of the Land of Islam.”

Jaish Headquarters Targeted
India(BHARAT) launched Operation Sindoor on the night of May 6–7 to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack that took place on April 22. Nine terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir were precisely targeted and destroyed. Among these were the Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters in Muridke.
Azhar Issued Statement:
Azhar stated in his statement that among those killed were his elder sister, her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece, and five children from the family. Azhar said, “Tonight, ten members of my family received happiness (death)… five innocent children, my elder sister and her husband. My nephew Fazil and his wife, and my beloved niece Fazila. Along with them, my dear brother Huzaifa and his mother.”

Earlier this month, a video surfaced in which a commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed also confirmed these deaths. Along with that, he admitted that Masood Azhar has been orchestrating terrorist attacks from Pakistani soil. This serves as concrete evidence that Islamabad is supporting terrorists and terror attacks on India(BHARAT).
