I helped Kumar Sanu become Kumar Sanu.” Rita said that Kumar Sanu wasn’t hardworking at all. 1 percent was his singing talent, and 99 percent was her motivation.

Rita said, “After the success of Aashiqui, he started earning a lot of money and that’s when he started changing. He became rude, he was never like this before.” Rita said that Sanu did not even talk to her or the children, not even when his elder son Zeeko was getting married. She said, “His love life is being discussed again in the media. When my elder son was getting engaged, I had told Sanu earlier also to say something and put a full stop to all this. He likes it if there is any talk about his life in the public, whether negative or positive. At that time, he did not respond and blocked me and Jaan. It was very insulting.”
