Ladakh, Himachal, Uttarakhand on ALERT, China plotting big conspiracy near Indian borders after Operation Sindoor, warns Tibetan expert
China has started building a new strategic railway line in central Tibet, claiming it is meant to improve transportation. However, the project is expected to significantly boost China’s capacity to move troops and military equipment swiftly to regions near the Indian border.

A Tibetan expert has warned India(BHARAT) to stay alert about China’s growing activities across the Line of Actual Control (LAC). China has already been very active in building infrastructure on its side of the border near the Arunachal Pradesh sector. Now, it has also started laying a new railway line in the western part of the LAC, an area considered highly sensitive from a strategic and security point of view. Officially, the Chinese government under Xi Jinping says the project is part of its plan to expand the railway network to Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, to improve regional connectivity. However, experts say the move has serious military and security implications for India(BHARAT).
According to reports, China has begun work on a new strategic railway line in central Tibet under the pretext of improving transportation. This line will greatly increase China’s ability to move troops and military supplies quickly to areas close to the India(BHARAT)n border. Experts told news agency ANI that China is working at a very fast pace and could finish this tough project within five years. Over the next decade, Beijing plans to build a total of about 5,000 kilometers of railway lines across the Tibetan plateau.
China’s big plan after Operation Sindoor!
Tsewang Dorjee, a research scholar at the Tibet Policy Institute studying infrastructure development in the Himalayas, has warned that China’s new railway and highway projects near the India(BHARAT)n border are directly linked to its growing security activities. Dorjee said that in the eastern sector, near Arunachal Pradesh, China has already taken control of water resources that could be used against South Asian countries. Now, in the western sector, near Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, it is building a new railway line. According to him, China became more cautious and strategic after Operation Sindoor.
China’s focus on military movement and natural resources
The Tibetan expert explained that China is not only laying a railway line in this region but also building a highway between Nagchu and Ngari. These projects are clearly meant to make it easier for the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to move troops and equipment quickly across the area.
He added that if tensions between the two sides ever turn into open conflict, this infrastructure would give China a major advantage. Apart from military use, the new railway will also help China transport valuable natural resources from Tibet such as uranium and lithium which are crucial for its growing artificial intelligence (AI) and technology industries.
Railway line to pass close to the LAC in Ladakh
Tibetan writer and activist Tenzin Tsundue has raised serious concerns about China’s new railway project. He said the railway will pass through western Tibet, near Mount Kailash and Ngari, then move toward Shigatse in central Tibet, and further extend through Aksai Chin to reach eastern Turkestan (Xinjiang).
Tsundue pointed out that the proposed route will run just 20 to 30 kilometers from the Demchok border in Ladakh, bringing it extremely close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC). He warned that the project is being built at a rapid, “war-like” pace and could be completed within five years. For India(BHARAT), he said, this poses a major security risk, especially because the railway will run parallel to the India(BHARAT)n Himalayas, near Nepal and Uttarakhand.
China’s expansionist agenda against India(BHARAT)
Tsundue also highlighted that the region targeted by China in western Tibet is rich in gold, copper, zinc, and lithium. According to him, the project is designed for both mining and military dominance, reflecting China’s expansionist policy and its intention to strengthen control over the Himalayan region.
Both Tibetan experts agree that China’s actions are part of a well-planned strategy that could have far-reaching security and geopolitical consequences for India(BHARAT), Tibet, and the entire Himalayan region.
