The Tesla Cybertruck is finally here!

Not "here" as in in-production or available for delivery -- but, the new Cybertruck prototype was featured at Tesla Investor Day on March 1.

DON'T Miss: Elon Musk Makes Sensational Promise About Tesla Cybertruck

New footage of the mythical truck, which looks like something out of an early-90's dystopian sci-fi film like "Demolition Man", hit the net on Wednesday.

Of course, this wasn't the big reveal Tesla fans were hoping for. There was buzz that the company would unveil the version of the vehicle that is slated to begin mass production later this year.

Despite the delays, Musk envisions a future where Cybertruck police cruisers will be "designed for Blade Runner."

The truck, which was first teased in November 2019, is said to have a low center of gravity that provides good traction control and torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and providing as much as 500 miles (800 km) of range.

In addition, Tesla said that the pickup truck has up to 3,500 pounds (1,587 kg) of payload capacity and 100 cubic feet (2.8 cubic m.) of exterior lockable storage.

The carmaker also claims that the car has towing capability of more than 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg).
